Do you have a GPS?

gps

What did we do before GPS… we had to break out the good, old-fashioned map and find our way!  I actually remember going online and printing a map when I didn’t know where I was going, those days are gone! GPS has revolutionized the art of finding our way around.  I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t live without it!  It’s amazing how you can plug-in an address across the country and the GPS will give you turn by turn directions!  God is a lot like a GPS, if we will just listen to His voice and follow His direction we will get to where we need to be faster, and we will take the best route possible!  Take a look at what the Bible says about God’s direction is our life:

“I will guide you and teach you the way you should go. I will give you good advice and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8

light unto my path

“You will show me the way of life. Being with You is to be full of joy. In Your right hand there is happiness forever.” Psalm 16:11

jer 29-11

God has such an amazing plan for your life.  He knows just what turns you need to make and how you need to get there.  You can trust God’s direction every time.  Has a GPS ever gotten you lost or taken you to a dead-end?  God will never do that!  His Word is our roadmap and the Holy Spirit acts like turn-by-turn directions.  The Bible says we will hear a voice behind us saying, this is the way, walk in it!  If you need direction today get your Bible out, begin to study the Word of God concerning your situation and pray! Ask God to lead you and guide you in the direction you need to go.  Then, follow peace. Peace is the umpire of our souls, so let peace call the shots!

“And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].” Colossians 3:15

You never have to be confused about what direction to take.  God will lead you, just take time each day to listen to His voice!

I hope this post has encouraged you today!
