Be The Best You, You Can Be!

Be The Best YOU, You can Be!

Have you ever wanted to change for the better? We all have.  There is an innate desire to move forward, strive ahead, and be the best we can be… God put that desire on the inside of you.  Some people will be content with how their lives are and never do a thing to change it.  Others will answer the call on the inside of them and make a change, break out of the shell, see the light at the end of the tunnel and choose to move forward and be the best they can be.  Decide what you will do and if you should choose to move ahead with courage and an un-daunting expectation for positive change then keep reading below.

I want you to ask yourself right now, Am I the best ME I can be?

If we all honest with ourselves we will all have the same answer – NO, because we can always get better, and that’s a good thing, that’s ok.  What’s stopping you from being the best you?

A lot of times what stops us is the WORST in someone else.  We get bitter because of what someone else did to us, we hold unforgiveness because someone has hurt us, and yet it’s our life, it’s your life.  We allow the worst in them to bring out the worst in us and affect our life now.   God doesn’t want you or me to live that way. He wants you to be the best you can be every day for Him.

How do you be the best YOU?

#1 Get a God-i-tude- A way of Thinking & believing, that says God works all things together for my good, no matter what!

Everybody has an attitude, but when I believe that “All things work together for me…” I can have a God-i-tude! I believe God is for me so, like David said, “Who can be against me…God is on my side…whom shall I fear?”

Understand you can’t control everything that happens to you, but you can control what happens in you and how you respond.  Your attitude in life is the one thing you have complete control over.  No matter what goes on in your life if you keep a God-i-tude, God will work things together for your good.  He will bring good out of every bad situation, if you trust God. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

#2 Go the extra mile, don’t just do what’s expected of you, but be a person that goes above & beyond.  Be a person of excellence. Have an excellent spirit. The Bible says in Daniel chapter 6 that Daniel had an excellent spirit in him.  He didn’t go along with the crowd and do what everyone else was doing. He stayed true to his beliefs and to God and God honored Him. Daniel was made 2nd in charge of all the land.

Daniel 1:20 “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding concerning which the king asked them, he found them ten times better.”

#3 Make important to you what’s important to God: People are important to God. Make people feel valuable, special, loved when they are around you. When people are in our sphere they should feel better about themselves.  Love the people in your life, be kind, be good. A smile is contagious. If you show yourself friendly, people will be friendly back to you!

Believing the best in others is to be like God, because He believes the best in us. If you make the commitment to be the best you can be for God, it challenges other and inspires others to be their best.

Add value wherever you go, make people want to be around you because you ooze God’s love, His goodness and you see the best in others instead of the worst.

“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything without weakening.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
